A collection of print ads from around the world. Now I ask the question does sex sell? It most certainly does, although in my opinion I wouldn’t call it sex when I look through this collection of print ads I see the use of sexuality and beauty. Having said that, taking advantage of your audience’s attention is risky business. Showing skin to get your viewers attention and then selling a completely unrelated product will backfire on you. The consumer will feel cheated and taken advantage of. How much nudity is enough to get the attention and where do we draw the line before offending. Yet there are brands and advertisers brave enough to take that risk and celebrate sex as any other source of joy in life with their advertising campaigns.
