The new Sony Drome 200Hz MotionFlow Technology Zoetrope commercial.
Sony Bravia launched their new commercial today, created by the ad agency Fallon. The spot features the enormous Bravia-drome, the world’s biggest ever zoetrope. The zoetrope showcases a series of still images of the footballer Kaká, that rotates at speeds up to 50km per hour that is viewed through small slits on the outside of the zoetrope then giving the illusion of him being animated, Sony’s goal is to focus on motion and showcase the Bravia’s new Motionflow 200Hz technology. Sony Bravia and Fallon had the zoetrope built in Venaria, near Turin in northern Italy. The music in the spot is by Kasabian.
